Today was the first annual Cherry Blossom festival in Portland! Waterfront Park has lots of cherry blossom trees that bloom every spring and are very picturesque this time of year, so I went down there with some friends :)
Ah yes, it was a typical Oregon day. RAIN.
There wasn't a whole lot going on at the Cherry Blossom Festival, just a tent or two with some stuff from Uwajimaia, the local Asian Market, and then a few performances. So we wandered over to Saturday Market to get some lunch and browse the shops.
A street performer who was pretending to be a statue until kids came up to look at him.
Stained glass. The thing I love about Saturday Market is that everything there is hand made and local from our artisans here in Portland. Tends to be a bit more expensive, of course, but it's well worth it. I bought Boone a new handmade dog collar and matching leash, I can't wait to show y'all! :)
