My work computer DIED. This is a screenshot the IT guy took before he wiped its memory. The whole thing was just weird. There is absolutely no reason for my work computer to die like that. I NEVER go on external websites or open weird e-mails, so I really doubt it could have been a virus... the IT guy said he really didn't want to spent the time figuring out what went wrong, he just wanted to rebuild the system, haha. So he did! That was a wonky start to the day, but the rest of my day was fun!
We did 80's themed costumes in the office! This is me and my coworker Tori!
Carly photobombing... hahahaha
This is everyone in my office! This company is so cool, you can tell they really value their employees, to let them have this sort of fun during work hours. It's great team building, truthfully.
Then a few of the girls wanted to do a fake photo shoot since I brought my DSLR to work, so we had some fun with 80's poses! So fun!
My Dad found my World of Warcraft shirt, and put it on. This shirt used to fit me, about 60 pounds ago, but since I've lost so much weight it's really baggy and doesn't even really work as a gym shirt anymore...
My Dad is a huge goof.
He was pretending to so some magical spell he's seen my avatar do. He watches me play sometimes. Well, when I play, that is. I probably haven't touched that game since...early June...
I drive by this every day, and I had never noticed it before. It's a bus stop outside the library.... it has books on it! :) I still don't have a library card. I should get one of those, one of these days...
Had another scare with the Mini today. This light came on when I turned on the car...
Thankfully it was pretty minor, it just means one of my side lights is out. Not even a running light, but a light for decoration, hahaah. I need to take it in for service, anyway, so I can get it fixed then.
Had another book club meeting this week! It was my turn to host again since we're still getting into the groove of things. I cooked spaghetti for the girls :)
I thought it came out pretty well! We had a great discussion on "Paper Towns" by John Green, which is one of my favorite books. I love our little book club! We have a great dynamic and it's so much fun!!
Having Boone means that I've been going to the gym less for my cardio, and going out for walks more. I know the gym is better for me, but I just can't stand Boone being alone for so long. He's my buddy!
Besides, if this were your dog, would you want to leave him for 9+ hours a day? I think not.
We have been so lucky with this fall weather. So gorgeous. I'm very thankful for the extra light and nice weather. I'll take Boone for walks in the rain, and he probably likes that better, but I enjoy being dry ;)
He tends to crash after our walks/jogs. I was stretching my legs out and he decided to curl up next to me.
This is how awesome my new job is, I got to take 10 minutes of paid time and paint myself a name tag for Halloween. Such a cute idea! I'm really loving my new office. The job itself is interesting and challenging, and the people are so, so nice!
Today I went to visit my Aunt Judy over in Central Oregon, just to hang out and say hey.
The drive was knd of awful until I hit Sisters. It was raining so hard it was almost a washout. When I got to a spot where the rain had stopped, I got out at a viewpoint and snapped this picture. I loved the cloudscapes and mountains. So pretty.
We went "Ding Dong Ditching..." but a nice version of it. Instead of just ringing the doorbell and running away, in this case, you leave a box of hostess ding dongs at their door!
We attached this note, so people would know WHY they were getting a free box of ding dongs.
I didn't write this note, I took it from author John Green since his positive pranking note was so cute!
This was a few houses down from where my Aunt lives. These people really like Halloween, apparently...
Aunt Judy, and my cousin Kevin's girlfriend Jannette! The three of us had such a fun time Ding Dong Ditching/Positively Pranking!
